Free tier credits never expire. For paid plans, credits reset at the start of each billing cycle. However, if you upgrade mid-cycle, your unused credits roll over with an extended expiration.
Your upgrade takes effect immediately. Any unused credits roll over to your new plan with an extended expiration date. You'll be charged a prorated amount, crediting unused time from your previous plan.
